game for two years. Dantley may have a accomplished a bit more as a pro but everyone who saw Carr play know he was the best player ND ever had. As a pro Carr was well on his way to rookie of the year when he broke his foot when at the time he was about the 3rd leading scorer in the league. He later scored 44 points I believe, against the Celtics in a playoff game with no 3 point shot. Dantley had no outside shot. Carr had the whole game, great rebounding guard and great shooter from deep,(again no three point shot) beat bigger guards to the rim. Carr thought of much more highly as a teammate and person too.
Dantley was one of the best offensive rebounders ever and was tremendous around the basket but that was the strongest and basically only great part of his game.
