The lack of an outside bomber made it tough to crack the zone and they never seemed to find an answer. Smart of Penn State to go zone heavy in the second half.
Doesn't explain why our D couldn't hold that big lead. Tough to 3peat and keep that work ethic and motivation, that's what would have made it legendary.
