Great developer of 2* kids, ruins 4 & 5* kids

I agree with most of what you said, but I don't think there are that many coaches that could succeed

I'd say, "you hit the nail on the head".

Are you saying, "From Sunday through Friday our football program has exceeded, but on Saturdays..."

I think you have to exclude or asterisk BYU in '12, but other than that spot on.

He's kind of like the high-end Nanny who cooks, cleans, teaches children languages.

Exactly. That's why I have no anger or hate towards him..

Chrisb

He is a 9-4 coach; his predecessors were 7-5 basically

bk needs to pull a faust ...say a hail mary and step down

Say what? Faust put a "Notre Dame out" clause in his Akron contract in case they called back...

you have to be joking, right?

Nope.

- 9:19pm 10/19/16
Exactly, x2. He's proven you can still win consistently, and recruit, at Notre Dame.
-

- 1:31pm 10/19/16
He has not recruited well
-
Hank Scorpio

I don't have the time to research it, but he's been alarmingly poor against the spread.

Vegas, and the fans, see it too clearly. He consistently gets outcoached, win or lose.
[NT]
-
Lawnmower8

Can Las Vegas fire him?

Is that BK's fault or the DC's fault? IMO, it's the DC's fault. Also, can't cope with a hurry-up....

I can only think of 2 and they are a little iffy: BYU '12, OU '12
[NT]
-
Chrisb

Believed in Kelly after OU '12...the way I believed in Weis after USC '05. Misplaced belief...

And the family doesn't get rid of the Nanny until the kid is dead.

The kid is on Life Support, but it's brain dead and it's now time to pull the plug.

The kid is in the car for weeks at a time...

Like your post. Yes, there likely are 100 coaches who can exceed BK in game planning, etc. But

I think that is a very realistic goal and we were there in 2012 and two plays away in 2015

One (1), count em....UNO top 10 finishes in 7 years.

Weren't we in the top 10 last year too? I think one poll had Michigan ahead of us which was bogus
-
THEISMANCARR
- 5:53pm 10/19/16
No, we did not finish in the top 10 in either poll last year...

If you can win at ND, you can recruit at ND. period.

He's stated several times that his generalgoal is to "be in a position to win at the end of the game

Look at this year...in each loss ND has been in a position to win, but the team hasn't been able to.

A big part of that is that our NFL number 1 pick QB has not come through at crunch time.

NFL All Pro's can't pass consistently when whole world knows your going to throw almost every down..
