Carson Wentz was part of 5, f-i-v-e championship teams in college. Can I repeat, 5... Kizer has a .500 record, if that; no credible wins, one of the worst seasons in school history and can barely beat Mac schools.
You can blame all you want. DESHONE KIZER is NOT a leader, he's NOT a winner and regardless of the "numbers" he's NOT a good QB. I wish the best for the kid but unfortunately, these are the FACTS we've watched and what's been etched in stone. We can only make decisions about what's actually happened. On the field this is a losing QB who HAS NOT beat any team of note.
You want to go by stats? What did you think of Tommy Rees? I bet $100 bucks you hated him.
Well, a few days ago an article was posted with two sets of QB stats A & B. They were almost identical. However, one qb threw the ball about 100 more times, thus making his numbers actually a little worse. Tommy Rees was one qb and Deshone was the qb that threw the ball 100 more times. And just for the record Tommy Rees is one of the winningest ND qbs, NOT Deshone Kizer.
My friend, numbers can be vary misleading if that's all you are relaying on. Look at DK's body language. It's terrible. Sometimes I'm not sure if he's not going to cry. He's NOT a winner. At qb, you have to have someone with passion, energy, fire, determination and the ability to lead a team through good and bad. Kizer does NONE of this. Well, he does well when things are good. The minute it gets bad he rolls over. Hell, he can't even stay focused for 60 mintues!!!!!!! He's NEVER engaged for a full game NEVER.
Big body, big arm, slow - but fast for his size... That's it. It's all paper projections with him. Let the NFL have him. They need another Blaine Gabbert, Donte Culpepper or Blake Bortles. Culpepper is the only one of the three that was halfway descent (Bortles still has time but is questionable).
Sports are about W's, Kizer HAS NOT put them up. That's all that needs to be said.
