not easy or usual. He was good BECAUSE HE WON. There are many many more QBs that have played HARDER SCHEDULES than Kizer the last two years and have BETTER RECORDS.
Fact is just as the HC is responsible for the play of the team, the QB is responsible for the ability of the offense to CONSISTENTLY move the football. Under Kizer starting halfway through last season the ND offense began to inconsistently move the ball. ESPECIALLY during the middle portion of the game. If you go back and watch or make mental notes during games, it's all directly related to Kizer missing the wide open receiver, over throwing open receivers, and holding the ball and taking sacks when there are two or three open receivers. His body language and facial expressions SCREAMED he had no clue what was going on and was in DEEP, DEEP over his head.
Give it up. Paper talent, sh!t product. That's Kizer.
