seeing the Irish in the CFP and / or the NC? Hell yes I would but I don't obsess over it, otherwise I miss alot of other
great stuff happening. BK is the face of the program and is thus responsible for Ws and Ls. I believe the biggest things
holding him back were himself and holding onto his crony coaches. Both of these have changed significantly of late.
Our "late season losses", ie. November, I believe are traceable back to Longo-----the team simply wasn't fit enough physically
to finish strong. Balles has had an incredibly positive effect on the S&C of the team. HOWEVER, and I believe we have both
read about this, the Balles effect cannot be brought to full effect in one year---it's a process that must be built upon over time. As
such, I believe we will begin to see a reduction in late-season (perhaps even late-game) meltdowns. This is not something BK
could do by himself. Instead, he canned Longo and brought in Balles who has made a difference.
Finally, I might also suggest that many of the changes incorporated recently by BK (even self changes) will need a bit more time
for full development before "consistent" results will be seen. But it's happening and it's worth being positive about despite the
occasional loss.
