I get it. ABC (ESPN) has a big TV contract with the SEC, but that league is bad. But they schedule and promote perfectly. Every year there is maybe 4 teams that are good (not great) in that league and the rest is crap. This year the 4th one is Kentucky - seriously. Somebody should call out Alabama for their ridiculous schedule. Yes they are good, but they get 4 bye weeks. They play Arkansas State, LA-Lafayette, the Citadel, and a bye week. ND should do the same thing. ND has some patsys on their schedule, but playing Florida St, USC, in their down years or Ball State and Vandy, is not like playing the Crap 'Bama plays. Also, the way ND schedules, they end up playing a good Temple team or a good Navy team because those teams get good every once in awhile and when you schedule 5 - 10 years in advance you don't know (while the "Bama crap isn't ever going to be good). Instead of complaining, if no one is going to call them out, ND should do the same. Play their 5 required ACC games, USC, Stanford, one other semi real game, and 3 teams from the sun belt. Than ND is in the playoff every year and certainly passes the "eye-test". "Bama - 4 weeks off is a joke.
