Sure, it isn't just about record. But it is unjustifiable to put a one-loss UM ahead of a no-loss ND when ND beat them fair and square. You can say a "good loss" means more than a "bad loss." But I don't for the life of me see how anyone can justify UM ahead of ND. It's nonsensical.
