the guy. But firing him after this season would be completely moronic, unless he either a) interviews with the NFL during bowl prep again, or b) bangs a coed at the 50 yard line of the Cotton Bowl while getting blown out by Clemson.
The 'leash' is simple, maintain this standard...for the first time in his tenure he has completed back to back successful seasons. Now he must take the next step to having multiple successive 10+ win seasons...in my eyes it's simple, either "win" the National Championship (at which point he holds his own leash) or win 10+ every year (with maybe the occasional 9 win season every 4 or 5 years) as multiple successive 10+ win seasons will bring in even more talent and increase our chances of winning the NC.
Anything short of winning the NC or consistent 10+ seasons and he should be gone.
