I'll respond to you because I generally like the tone and approach of your posts.
Whatever posts I made were his draftability into the NFL and generally in reaction to the fawning folks who thought he was a Day 2 pick. Extrapolating "he won't get drafted" to "he won't play" in the NFL is just plain disingenuous. I never said he wouldn't make it in the NFL, nor did I imply that be saying he wouldn't be drafted. If you, or anyone, wants to stretch that into anyone's own invented lie, is their prerogative.
Many FA's make have long term success in the NFL. That fact that he is starting doesn't mean that the NFL was wrong in it's assessment but more due to the injuries that occurred at RB for the Eagles than a testament to his "success" as an NFL player. It is an accomplishment to be working at any level at the highest tier in one's profession. He has had a chance to show off the skills he has and we will see how, and if, he develops into more than what he is now because anyone who thinks he has "earned" his role by demonstration of his long term NFL skills, as opposed to being in the right spot at the right time, is just a fan boy. He plays because he stuck to it and worked for it. There are many in the NFL who that has happened to.
At the same time, I wouldn't be shocked if he isn't even on this team next year depending on the injury/contract status of the Eagles running back next year. But look for them to draft a RB in the 1st three rounds next year. Spin that comment anyway you want.
And Merry Christmas!
