Alize Mack is an impressive athlete, and always had that "amazing potential" label on him, which was why it didn't seem surprising at all.
On a side note, one's potential can go a very long way. Jerome Collins got invited to the NFL Combine back in 2005, even getting drafted in the 5th round, despite having about a half dozen catches during his senior year (and none before that in his entire time).
