If you consider the dropped balls, poor pass plays, and the Clemson rush all night, Book did better than average at 17-34 in pass plays for 160 yards. Clemson’s line was huge and lack of protection closed many passing lanes. And with the ND rushing attack gaining only 88 yards it was up to Book to win the game. Not fair to put the blame on him.
