In that time we have had a bevy of NFL bound linemen and Harry Heistand (the best in the business according to many) but have lost numerous games due to inabilty to convert short yardage situations and at crunch time to run the clock. The delayed handoff to a stationary back hasn't worked against most opponents but is especially ineffective against the big boys (We lost both Games to Georgia after having the ball around midfield with time on the clock and at home all we needed was a field goal but there have been many others). Insanity sometimes defined as doing the same thing time after time and expecting a different result and if that is true BK's stubborn resistance to change may be applicable.
Since we are talking about coordinators, Clark Lea's performance since taking over last season had been more than anyone could have expected. The defense kept us in the Georgia game in spite of numerous 3 and outs by the Offense causing them to spend much too much time of the field especially in the second half of the game. Kudos to him and the defense.
