The game plan, obviously, has to recognize what your players can do. Book doesn't have a big arm and he doesn't like to throw deep. I think the latter is because he just isn't comfortable waiting for plays to develop -- he makes an initial read, and if it isn't there, or if he thinks it isn't there, he gets jumpy. He also seems to not have very good field vision.
I don't watch Jurkovech practice every day, so I don't know what he can or can't do. But this much I can tell -- opponents have figured out how to deal with Book, and he is not showing any ability to adapt.
