and not that they simply don't put the practice time in to be a strong running team?
Hard to imagine they can be as good as they are in pass pro and have as many assignment errors, by OL, TE's and RB's, as they do if they are practicing run game as much as passing game.
If it were one OL or one TE or one RB continually making the errors, I'd agree it's the players or coaches. But it's an OL missing an assignment this play, a TE missing his block that play and the RB missing a huge hole the next play. Different coaches coach each of those groups. So who's to blame?
To me it screams this is a team that doesn't practice the running game enough to be a consistently strong running team. The talent's there, but seems the intention is missing.
