Some like Fluite, though short have an uncanny ability to see the whole field without seeing over the height of the 6'6" + linemen. Book doesn't have that.
They say you can't teach height and in this case, that cliché' would be accurate. Jurkovec is able to get past his freshman mistakes because of his
height. His mechanics were not to the liking of Kelly (Kelly who likes to fit round objects into square holes) therefore not the morning glory Book
is so he was never going to get his opportunity at ND - nice to see him at BC where they have a need for a decent and possibly good QB.
Book is a serviceable QB in college but likely will never make it to the NFL and if by chance he gets a call after not being drafted,
he will never leave a mark as a QB.
