First, I hate to see anyone have to do battle with a deadly disease, and hope he is only lightly infected. This game is not really important for them anyway and would serve them well to integrate their future QB into a big game or two. Secondly, they would be stupid to hurry TL back on the field and risk what is really at stake. Thirdly, every team faces some hurdles and this is truly a low one for them on their march to a pretty easy national title if they play it smart. There is no need for them to take a huge risk or cheat.
It may make the Irish perk up and fire up to play Clemson at home, but a loss to a back-up will take a lot of air out of the tires for the season. I would love to see them take the "lunch pail" approach to the game and every man do his job for 60 min. and see who is ahead when it is over. Worked in Norman and can work against the Tigers. Don't get hyped...just get focused and determined to take every blow....get up...and give it back. And eliminate the freaking blunders!!! That wins a lot of games regardless of how good your opponent is.
