comfortable with “high floor” type players. He’s content starting game-managers knowing that they won’t lose him games against inferior competition. Yet, they won’t win him games against elite teams. Kizer was an exception. It’ll be interesting to see what he does next year. If he goes with his “next man up” philosophy and starts the kid that has the best understanding of the offense then we’ll probably see Clark. If he wants to play the kid with the most physical/athletic talent then we’ll see Buchner or Pyne.
Also interested in seeing what PJ does next year at BC. His first year starting wasn’t bad. If he breaks out next year then maybe Kelly should have thrown PJ out there and taken some losses to get the kid experience.
