win games and if they have some good students along the way then fine.
Millions of dollars of revenue are contributed to the bottom line of the school by athletes and not students (outside of tuition). Many schools prioritize this fact, some find a balance, and others attempt to shun the notion of money over academics... they generally finish lower in the sports that generate the most revenue. To each his own, but the choice is there for everyone. Don't complain about it.
