Friend, you're just rehashing what has been written here ad nauseum. But I'll add this. Johnson not seeing much action had a lot to do with factors outside football. The kid was just having a hard time adjusting to the rigors of Notre Dame. To his credit, he stayed with it, and hopefully he has turned the corner. But as an alum, I'm proud to see Notre Dame care about the kid's well being more than treating him as a commodity to win football games.
