only 17/32 for 12 more yds than Pyne who was 24/34. But Maye threw for 5 TDs while Pyne only had 3. One thing of which I am fairly certain is that Pyne, in spite of size, arm strength, and speed deficiencies compared to some elite QBs, is a winner. Watching him reach maybe the lowest point of his career against Cal, he has been nothing but an indisputable positive since. He will never be 6" taller, but he will QB many more ND wins. He is the best ND has at the position now, and the Irish are fortunate to have him.
