Daniels experienced a lot of bad luck when it came to injuries. He had two good full seasons where he was able to play through most or all of the season, one at USC his freshman year, and the last year at WV. Otherwise, the injury bug was his worst enemy, especially when was at Georgia. He was racking up some impressive stats until he got hurt. After that, Kirby Smart was going to stick with Bennett, no matter what.
I still believe he made a mistake reclassifying into the 2018 year, since he could really have used another year of grown, strength, and conditioning before starting college ball. That alone could have made him more resistant to the injury bug.
I think he'll do fine at Rice, as long as they have some reasonable levels of offensive talent around him.
