Rees in terms of experience and football IQ. The SEC schedule is brutal, so he better be on his A game and not shit the bed like he did against Marshall, Stanford, and Navy. I’m happy for the change and feel it was needed. While Rees did make more of an effort to run the ball and be balanced which I liked, there was still too much of Kelly’s foot print on the offense at times which drove me nuts. I want to see if a new OC has a scheme where our talent guys shine or if this issue is still lack of studs. From reports, it seemed like the Kelly/Rees system was complicated and that has kept some of the young athletic guys off the field. If MF goes outside and hires a stud, I think that hire is going to answer a lot of questions we’ve all had or debated over the years.
