returner, running back and he even blocked a punt in a close win over Michigan State. Rocket was our best player ever and he did it in only three years. He also did not fumble and as I recall Tim Brown fumbled the opening kickoff against Purdue that really cost us that game as a freshman. Ross Browner was our second greatest player who had a sterling career that included two national championships where he was the key player from the position of defensive end. Sorry Alan Page you were great but Ross was greater as a college player. Paul Hornung must have been up there as he was probably the best all around pro player. The old guys must have been great too but I know little about them.
