Why is it that folks are continually leaving out Deion Colzie's name?? There's mentioned of a big catch by Merriweather this spring vs Morrison...Colzie had a near identical catch this spring vs Morrison as well and was probably more impressive as he Mossed the ball over and away from Morrison...no mention. Last year, the 2nd half of the year, Colzie made lots of big catches and clutch ones. Even had a big TD vs USC that was exactly the kind of play/player ND needs...not much said. Talking about size, speed, and athleticism... Colzie is 6-5 and ran 10.7,10.8 100m in HS and was state finalist in the HJ. Not one mention in this article. Kid had an off freshman year but so did Merriweather other than one big catch. He seemed like he couldn't get healthy or get lined up or quit on routes but that's not abnormal for a frosh...Yet the excitement for TM hasn't waned. Personally, I would LOVE to see both Colzie and TM as starters on the ends. I think both bring a tremendous combo of size, speed and athleticism. Very similar to the year Clemson had Tee Higgins and Justyn Ross. Anyways, just seemed odd to list nearly every WR but Colzie. Even made mention of size with Thomas and VT transfer Smith and Colzie at 6-5 211 is still left out.. Odd.
