My assessment is that Mayer is likely relieved that his career will start in Las Vegas and not Detroit. Not sure of his chances to start or play a ton of snaps right away, but he will likely get to witness his fill of Kelce up close. As a Chiefs fan, I feel sad to have to pull against his team, but will watch his development closely...at least twice a year.
