Taylor was so good, that he ended up starting as a true freshman at the field cornerback position when Greg Lane was a bit gimpy in 1992.
After Lane came back from that injury, he ended up bumping John "Shaft" Covington from the safety spot, and ol' Shaft was put at nickel. Keep in mind, Shaft was still drafted the year after.
Morrison's cover abilities actually look a bit better than Taylor's at this stage, and he's going to be one of our best.
