Look, truth is I hate these types of debate, because I loved Walton, he was a damn baller. BUT, truth is he wasn't a true corner...he played there out of necessity, because our CB recruiting at the time was pretty trash, and to his credit he played great. However, his skill set is better suited for Safety.
If Shane Walton was on our roster this year, he would be starting but it would be at Safety next to Watts, and oh what a marvelous secondary that would be. Morrison and Hart at the corners, Walton as the deep ball hawking Safety and Watts as the run enforcer.
Anyway, I don't want to talk Walton down, he was great but he was moved to Safety in the league for a reason while Morrison is a legitimate elite CB type.
