These data show average ppg for each D1 offense we faced, taken from their official team site and including the ND game (so, as we’ll see, actually showing a bit lower than the average ppg with us factored out). I list the overall average followed by what they put up on the ND defense. (I did not include TSU, a game we ought not have scheduled anyway, I believe).

I think I have all the results right. We have not allowed anyone to get their average on us. We have been best in our most recent games. Also best against the highest ranked teams. Only NC State really came close to their average. All the bitching about our defense seems badly informed. They are giving us a chance to win every game so far.
