Colin Cowherd is right about one thing... MONEY in college football means that TRADITION has become irrelevant.
It's totally plausible that USC drops ND. They have a national footprint in the Big Ten and we might jeopardize their playoff opportunities.
What Colin misses is that all this means that college football is now a minor league sport.
And how many minor league teams in any sport are profitable?
So how many colleges will be forced to drop the sport?
Throw in unions, agents, NIL cash, a gazillion lawsuits, and increasing consolidation of leagues and the game itself becomes an afterthought.
