I just wanted to mention a few things:
1. This team was absolutely LOADED with talent. Vinny Cerrato did his job & he did his job well. There's no excuse for tying Michigan much less losing to Stanford. This should've been Holtz's 2nd NC team while at ND.
2. I always loved Bettis mugging for the camera & saying "I still got 6" after getting a talking to by NDs RB coach at the time, Earl Mosely.
3. Tom Carter was lucky not be arrested after he almost decapitated a TA&M WR towards the end of the game. Good Lord.
4. ND's starting LT last name in this game vs A&M was Knapp....I'm just saying.
