Serious question: Why do so many choose to ignore the obvious issues and hype up really bad choices?

1. Choosing Golson over Rees
2. Wimbush over Book
3. Bringing in Coan
4. Choosing Buchner over Pyne
5. Bringing in terrible (stats where supportive of bad) Sam Hartman
6. Passing on Angeli
7. Bringing in Leonard (stats proved he was bad), history showed he can't pass
8. Believing the Denbrock hype when he has only 2 years (with a special QB) of looking great.
9. Do this many adult men still believe in Santa Claus? I'm starting to think so.
