I was just trying to give a guy we shouldn't have hired support/fair shake/time to learn...

but my confidence in him being able to make the necessary improvement is definitely shaken.

I also thought this might be the year we turned the corner and I'm very disappointed.

I've been trying to monitor his trajectory vs predecessors, knowing this year would likely be the fork in the road, one way or the other.
