Actually Lisch could have been a decent QB if Devine, who was the worst offensive mind ever, didn't ruin him. He had all the tools, Gary Forystek came in and was a good passer but got blasted by the Purdue Middle linebacker and was never the same, so Joe Montana started to become a legend then.
