I do not cheer for USC. Unless it doesn't matter (ie ND undefeated and just needs to beat them), I generally want USC to win all their games...and then get slaughtered and demoralized by ND. (last year was great).
What I always WANT is what is best for ND...that doesn't involve "cheering" for any annoying institutions or fan bases...it just means hoping for the best strategic outcome.
