Last year we did this against the Buckeyes and this year against Northern Illinois.

You can run all the analytics you want, but Woody Hayes said it best: There are three things that can happen when you put the ball in the air and two of them are bad.

I am not against passing at all. But it does add an element of risk in situations that do not require it.
