He's been that way since NIU. I noticed a couple of weeks ago.

Almost adversarial. This is not a good look. He's supposed to be the face, the leader of the program. Win or lose. The press and fans are not to blame. He hears the chatter. So do the players. I am past the point of exonerating players for poor effort with the change of landscape in college sports. They are not exonerated in the classroom and they won't be beyond judgement in the work place. He thought the "joy" of his hiring was going to last forever.

          • Yea that was really really bad. No defender in his face or anywhere near the receiver. [NT] - MuskyTommy - 12:35pm 9/22/24
          • And a wide open RB from 4 yds away, once if not 2x. [NT] - oldirish - 11:27am 9/22/24

          • That’s a fair point, and probably accurate. But boy is it counter to best guy plays. [NT] - LanceManion - 9:05am 9/22/24
            • Exactly. He might be too nice a guy to be a head coach [NT] - MarkHarman - 9:14am 9/22/24
    • He’s in a no-win situation w/no appreciable vision for the program - LanceManion - 8:44am 9/22/24
