The NFL and college are two totally different games.  I find it surprising that NFL teams don’t realize that letting a kid watch for 2 or 3 years matters.  Darnold was not good until he sat and watched for a year or 2.  Green Bay gets it - let Rogers sit for a few years, let Love sit for a few years.   Yes - there are anomalies - Purdy, Allen, etc.  But those are rare.  I don’t think you can take a college kid, 24 years old, and throw him into the NFL and say figure it out.  The NFL is a zone scheme game, college is a blitz, man game.  It’s not even the same game.   It doesn’t help, bad teams have a bad offense line and bad receivers and a QB is going to fix it all.  Build an OL and a defense and then draft a QB to watch for 2 years.  My 2 cents.
