What we as fans don’t know is why. One would think if the coaches believed RL could be more than a runner then they would call plays as evidence of that. I do believe early in the season that plays were being called but RL was not seeing them and taking off. Last week second half seemed like a possible light bulb moment for RL and first quarter this week looked really good. But then it all went away.
My uneducated opinion is that the coaches know exactly what they have but he’s been paid for and must be used. For better or for worse.
