I think a lot of these kids are going to end up worse off financially, like the NFL players who end up broke. Without knowing, I am fairly certain there has to be agent and booster and shady financial adviser sharks swimming all over this mess. Should there be some sort of a trust or pension style situation set up for the players to secure their financial future? And rather than the wild West of NIL that we currently have, should it be more of a revenue sharing situation via the universities? Should the QBs be making 100x the offensive linemen?
I don't know, just some thoughts I had.
