In 2 of the 3 recruiting cycles, Freeman and staff have been all in on QBs who have a ton of talent, but might not be the best fits for Notre Dame. They need to do a better job of being honest with themselves about who they can actually get who will be a fit at ND. It's a hard balancing act since they also need a gamechanger at the position since ND hasn't had one for so long. Carr is a great example though. It looks ike he has all the skills to be an elite QB and he never wavered in his commitment at all eve through OC changes.
