Kiffin is a prick and a backstabber, but he's not stupid.

He wouldn't keep Charlie Weis on board if he weren't up to the task.

On a side note, I'm very happy for Weis, especially considering a lot of the hostility that he received even from this community. He has paid his dues, put in his time, and I hope he gets his own big time coaching gig some day.
