Possibly move Bryce Young to DT

I'd prefer we keep him at strongside DE, but since we have some decent depth at DE, and a lot of upcoming young talent, it may make sense to give it a whirl. He would easily be big enough to handle the 3 technique tackle position after this season.

He's already at 265 as a true freshman, after tipping the scales at 245 as a high school senior.

He's already much bigger than his legendary father was when he was a true freshman, and he's a very smart fellow (like his father) who understands technique, leverage, etc.

He's not nearly done growing, either, and another off-season of strength, conditioning, and development could really elevate him. .

  • The most encouraging thing about this year has been the young talent on D. - iairishcheeks - 1:27am 10/20/24 (4) [View All]
    • The young D players have been a very bright spot and most are an improvement on the older starters. [NT] - oldirish - 5:31pm 10/20/24

    • Indeed. It's hard to see much drop off at all which is amazing. Golden's adjustments also deserve - BaronVonZemo - 2:04am 10/20/24
