Not his fault

Their star QB, the 7th year senior who was having a very good season, is out, and the backups are terrible.

They have a talented true freshman who is starting now, ahead of the veterans, but he's way too green to take command.

The question is whether Ludwig volunteered to become the fall guy, or whether Whittingham threw him under the bus. Given how long he has been with Whittingham, I'd definitely say it's the former.

Ludwig knows he can get a decent OC position elsewhere, and I stand by what I said, that if we had been successful in getting him for the 2023 season, we could have been at least a NY6 bowl team.
