For the record I think Whittingham has run his course and won't make it to next season at Utah. But how is it not partly a fifth year OC's blame that the options are a seventh year quarterback or a true freshman? He didn't recruit and/or develop a suitable backup for the past 4 seasons? He may have been run over by the bus, but I'm pretty sure he's the one who laid down in the driveway without engaging the emergency brake.
