There are still a fair number of Orgeron-era players that he can blame (whether validly or not).
He tried to pull that crap at ND back in 2011, where he gave a speech to the players smugly saying how he could tell who the players HE recruited were, versus the players that "the other guy" recruited.
He came close to losing Manti Teo after that stunt.
