If we're going to just make stuff up and see what sticks, I'd say it's more plausible that he was one of the players involved in the weed smoking rumors that may have earned Stuckey his sudden exit.

Makes a lot more sense that a Virginia kid would choose to go home with degree in hand to play his final year, than spend another Winter in South Bend with a potential suspension for team rules violations looming.

I highly doubt he was pushed out (words matter), but rather chose to leave for home due to reasons surrounding the situation here that we'll probably never know all the details on.
