They don't seem as powerful as they were in past years

Both Alabama and Georgia are excellent teams, but they're not quite what they were compared to even last year, much less in the prime years before that.

This year is a most interesting one, seeing how there's significantly more parity among the teams, instead of having just a handful of upper echelon teams that were significantly above the rest.
