As time ran off clock at IU game she looks at me:
Her "SO, when is our next game?"
Me "Jan 1st in Sugar Bowl vs GEORGIA!"
Her "We should go."
Me [in my responsible grown up voice] "Babe, we just spent all that money on the cruise, these IU tickets, travel to/from Chicago, hotel in SB area, and rental car..we can't do Sugar Bowl too!"
Her [side eyed stink face]

Last night, as time ran off clock vs UGA, she looks at me:
Her "We shoulda been there!"
Me: :-|

A little while later:
Her "SO, when and where is the next game?"
Me "Jan 9th in Miami vs Penn St."
Her "Did you get tickets?"
Me "No."
Her "Why not?!?"

Me [online buying tickets]
Her [on phone with Costco buying travel package]
Me "If we win this game, we're watching the NC game from home, ok!"
Her [avoiding eye contact as if she didn't hear] ".........................................."
