His first year as OC coincided with Book's last year as QB, but Rees was the QB coach before that. I stand by my statement that he never had a QB as OC otherwise, and was not talking at all about Alabama.
I also think he must be a pretty damn good coach if Saban and Vrabel hold him in high regard. He's been OC at ND, Alabama, and now in the NFL, all before the age of 32. He's a ND grad and former player, and I wish him the best.
